The Bajan pop star is also quietly working on her upcoming album. In 2015, she had one of the biggest singles on the planet “B*tch Better Have My Money” a song that spawned a very explicit music video of the pop star torturing her accountant and his wife. Aside from racking up more accolades on the charts, Rihanna recently conquered the cosmetic products market with the release of her Fenty Beauty line of makeup products. Tweet

Looks like Rihanna finally got her money from the b*tch. In the pic, she donned an 80s themed outfit that was recent debut at the Paris Fashion Week. The pic has already inspired a few memes most of which centered around the smash hit single “BBHMM.” “How you feel when you finally get your money from the b*tch,” one fan wrote, while another added, “My gal RiRi finally get her money from that bish just look at the size of that dollar bill.” Rihanna is creating a bit of history of her own on Billboard despite dropping her last album almost two years ago. She has a song coming out with incarcerated reggae legend Buju Banton. Last night, Rihanna posted a pic Instagram of herself standing in front of a giant $100 bill painting. This week she became the first artist to have five number one singles on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in a single calendar year. A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on Oct 11, 2017 at 9:18pm PDT Her Fenty Beauty products have been selling out as fast as they can be stocked and other competitors in the market are already feeling her presence. RiRi looked stunning as usual, but it’s the painting that’s getting the most attention from her fans. There is no word yet on when the new project will arrive, but she has already started registering some songs slated for release in the coming months.

Nicki Minaj ignites a heated debate yesterday when a statement she made about female rappers surfaced online. before nicki: *where are the female MCs?* pic.twitter.com/k4XYbVXSXL

In 2015, Missy Elliot got into a heated back-and-forth with Nicki fans on Twitter after she made a statement taking a jab at Ms Minaj. I think female rappers have always been dope and influential, but I think I sort of came in at a time where big business was paying attention, so I was able to capitalize off of a lot of deals and business ventures.”
Perhaps the strongest defense of Nicki Minaj’s statement came from words from people in the hip-hop industry. “I’m A walking testimony! While she didn’t mention Nicki Minaj by name, she might as well had because the barbz were quickly on the attack. But some rap fans think that she is reaching and Missy seems to be one of those who thinks that she is wrong. “So, my role was reintroducing the female rapper to pop culture. One of the Trini rapper’s fans posted a video from an episode of Sway about the same topic. be YOU there’s many who can relate 2u,” Missy tweeted. Elliot posted a photo of Lil Kim where she wrote, “There’s no denying that @LilKim has been a risk taker not just in music but in fashion she wasn’t afraid. She meshed high fashion & hiphop? Get it lil Kimberly! To those who was told they were talented but didn’t look the part! “There wasn’t a big female rap presence right before I got in,” Nicki Minaj said in her interview when asked about her role in hip-hop. You can watch that video below and sound off in the comments. There's no denying that @LilKim has been a risk taker not just in music but in fashion she wasn't afraid. She meshed high fashion & hiphop.” The photo of Lil Kim is from 1999 before her plastic surgeries. Some of her fans on Twitter agreed with her statement about her role in hip-hop and what she brought to the table. The heated exchange also brought some of Lil Kim fans out of the woodwork to attack the Young Money rapper suggesting that she is not a rapper and more of a pop star. Well, this definitely was a risk. That shoot was done by famed photographer David LaChappelle and features Kimmy’s skin decked out in Louis Vuitton patterns. pic.twitter.com/ZP99yYySxD
— ONIKA IN DA MATRIX? In her interview with XXL, Nicki Minaj says female rappers were all but extinct before she came on the scene. Halloween costume trendsetter realness ???????? I don’t think we got that much credit. Missy Elliott is among her critics on Twitter bashing her for suggesting that she brought back female rap to the mainstream. Some of The Wailers top songs includes “Natty Dread,” “I shot the Sheriff,” and “Get Up Stand Up.” Bunny Wailer left the group   in 1974 and went on to acquire the surname Wailer. Their message of peace and love in their music would help them to become global icons in music. “I did not expect it, but knew it was something that ones spoke to me about being due based of the vastness of my contribution and my focus on preserving the legacy of The Wailers, not only to the music but to the Rastafari culture and community,” he said. This   is Bunny Wailer’s   third National Honor by the Jamaican government,   however, this is more significant since it is the third highest honor   granted in Jamaica by the state. Peter Tosh, Bob Marley along with Wailer formed The Wailers in 1963, but it wasn’t until 1972 that the group got their big break and landed a contract with Island Records. The group began in a time when political warfare’s was on the rampage and their songs spoke a lot about   equal rights and justice which had a huge impact socially in Jamaica back then. Young Thug was more of a Jack The Ripper type character where he was killing zombies and beheading people.

Slim Shady made headlines this week for his onslaught on President Donald Trump during his BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher. She’s hotter than me, but I’m funnier. “Max [Martin] and I started making [‘Revenge’], and I wrote this rap,” she said. And I said, ‘You know I love you. Eminem comes through with a fire verse rapping, “F**k trying to make amends / I’d rather take revenge.”
This rap-pop collaboration is one of the standout tracks on Pinks new album and she also opened up in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly about how she emailed Eminem to be a part of the single. So I’m going for a rap Grammy, and I’d like to take you along with me.’ It was this long email, and he wrote back right away and just said, ‘Okay.’”
She then added that Em email her back the full song four days later and she replied telling him that was the best thing she ever heard. I emailed [Eminem]. “We could take revenge together / Revenge is sweet,” Pink sings on a beat produced by Max Martin. But now he and Pink are teaming up for a common cause, to get revenge from their exes. The duo previously worked together on the 2010 single “Won’t Back Down” and again in 2012 on “Here Comes the Weekend.” Some of Eminem’s biggest hits are with female pop artists like Rihanna whom he has worked with several times in the past. “We were drinking a lot of wine, and then I went home and I thought more wine would be a good idea. I like that you work with a lot of the same people, like Rihanna. This is why they call it liquid courage. Tweet

I feel you in my bones
Your kisses feel like home
With you I never rush
But this ain’t no stupid crush

[Pre-Chorus]
We don’t even need to talk about it
More love, less talk, more love
We don’t even need to talk about it
I like it when we talk

[Chorus]
But I love it when we touch
I love it when we touch
A little bit too much
I love it when we, when we, when we
I love it when we

[Verse 2]
There’s magic in your hands
Oh, you got me in a trance
Your love is like a wind
Dancing across my skin

[Pre-Chorus]
We don’t even need to talk about it
More love, less talk, more love
We don’t even need to talk about it
I like it when we talk

[Chorus]
But I love it when we touch
I love it when we touch
A little bit too much
I love it when we, when we, when we
I love it when we

[Bridge]
We don’t even have to say a word
Won’t bite, no, I won’t hurt
Speak less and you may learn to feel me, yeah
Baby, yeah
I like it when we talk

[Chorus]
But I love it when we touch
I love it when we touch
A little bit too much
I love it when we, when we, when we
I love it when we

You said no matter what that you’d be honest
You said, “Now darling, I’ll take care of you”
But last night when you broke another promise
I started to question what the truth is

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Wake up in the morning
Something’s different in this light
It’s like everything is perfect
You don’t know what you did last night
Oh, you know the worst thing is
I don’t wanna have this fight
You’re saying that it’s not that
You say that every time

[Chorus]
So don’t blame the liquor
For the things you say that you don’t mean
The small things, get bigger
You’re poking holes in you and me
googletag.cmd.push(function() { var map = googletag.sizeMapping().addSize([337, 280], [[300, 250], [336, 280]]).addSize([0, 0], [300, 250]).build(); googletag.defineSlot(‘/115733527/Lyrics_Inline’, [[300, 250], [336, 280]], ‘lyrics-inline-300×250’).defineSizeMapping(map).addService(googletag.pubads()); });

[Verse 2]
I know that you’ve got the best intentions
I know that you mean the things you say
But forever isn’t something you should mention
If you keep making all the same mistakes

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Wake up in the morning
Something’s different in this light
It’s like everything is perfect
You don’t know what you did last night
Oh, you know the worst thing is
I can see how hard you try
You don’t wanna hurt me
But that doesn’t make it right

[Chorus]
So don’t blame the liquor
For the things you say that you don’t mean
The small things, get bigger
You’re poking holes in you and me

[Bridge]
And ooh, I swear you change me
You’re upset
And do things I can’t forget
But, darling, something’s got to change
Before it’s too late
You could paint a picture of
Put your heart in every line
But the things that we just miss out
Doing damage over time
Don’t wanna wake up one day and
Wonder why I just stood by
Kept it on the inside
No, something wasn’t right

[Chorus]
So don’t blame the liquor
For the things you say that you don’t mean
The small things, get bigger
You’re poking holes in you and me

[Outro]
You’re poking holes, you’re poking holes
You’re poking holes in you and me
You’re poking holes, you’re poking holes
You’re poking holes in you and me
